What is the best mattress on a slatted base?

A good slatted base follows the contours of the body and is divided into different support zones. The mattress should allow for interaction between the base and the body; a mattress that is too thick or too hard prevents this and makes investing in a good slatted base pointless. The firmness and thickness of the mattress should be adapted to the sleeper's body characteristics. A well-functioning slatted base is ideal in combination with a foam mattress, although latex is preferred for its durability and elasticity. For a double bed, two separate slatted bases are always used to ensure proper support for both sleepers. This results in a completely slumped position, with all the attendant consequences. The base should be able to be inclined in various positions.

Here too, it's important that the entire floor is tilted. This maintains the neutral position of the spine while still raising your feet relative to your head.
